Responsible for developing and maintaining existing applications for the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Years of Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Job Description:
The selected individual will serve as a Programmer to Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD). This position will support and enhance the agencies’ application development needs through the maintenance and modification of existing applications. They will also be tasked with testing, implementation, documentation and support.
In additional to Programming responsibilities, they will strive to learn the Accela application and be a primary technical resource for this application.
Job Qualifications:
Ability to learn the use and application of the Accela system.
Required 1 Years
Ability to research and coordinate applications compatible with the Accela data platform for adoption and use with Food and Dairy Program activities
Desired 1 Years
Developing applications using Oracle or SQL Server databases
Required 2 Years
Designing, developing, and supporting web applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS

Testing web applications - using automated test tools.

Experience with Data Warehousing
